Please join us Saturday, April 27, 2019 for the 9th Annual Doreen Myers 5K Walk/Run!
Awards will be given to the top three males and females in the following categories: Top 3 Overall Finishers, Top 1 Masters Finishers, Age Group Finishers (Over 40), Top 3 Age Group Finishers in the following age groups: 0-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 Plus. In addition, awards will also be given to 1st Place Law Enforcement - Male & Female.
Medals will be awarded for all age group winners. All runners will be entered in to win raffle prizes. There will also be goodie bags from sponsors, water, Gatorade, and bananas.
The race will start at Highway 17 and 4th Street (near City Hall), will run along the Woodbine Riverwalk, and concludes at the Satilla River Waterfront Park. As always, your participation in this race will help celebrate the memory of Doreen Myers. Doreen was a special woman who worked tirelessly to help abused children in Camden County and surrounding areas. The money raised will benefit the Safe Harbor Children's Advocacy Center (formally Golden Isles Children's Advocacy Center), where Doreen was employed prior to her death.

The fee to register online is $28 before April 26, 2019 or $30 the day of the race. Race day registration and packet pick-up will be from 6:30am-7:30am at Woodbine City Hall located at Hwy 17 and 4th Street with the walk/run beginning at 8:00am
